St Calamity's College stands on a rock above a small town in Ruritania. It was founded by an Anglophile Prince, it has never been properly accredited, and its motto, Semper tentamus, minime discimus, means "We are always trying, we learn very little".
You are its newest student. Each lab, you lay elements out on the bench and brew them into formulas, hunting for the right bonds before the mixture turns on you. Gather a faculty of eccentric professors, collect gear and questionable consumables, and work your way up through the years without losing more than you can spare.
